CINESPARK, HERE I COME!

My first short, “Oh, Beth!” was selected as a finalist in the CINESPARK competition to pitch at the Shortcircuit Pacific Rim Film Festival! It was the first short I’ve written, and was adapted from my feature “Failure to Commit.” If I win the pitch, CineVic will contribute seed money and equipment to help have the short film made. I’ve assembled an AMAZING team to support the process - talented filmmakers to mentor me as I shift from screenwriter into a directorial debut! They include Michael Korican, Producer; Michael Anthony, Director of Photography; and Sarah Nicole Faucher, 1st AD among many other hats. We are hoping to find equally amazing volunteer crew members and actors. Those who are members of CineVic will gain credits toward equipment rental for their own projects. What a great way to create a vibrant local film industry and support newbies like me! I’m so grateful!
